Getting ready for your next Disney trip? This list & you meeting is fate.
Greetings, fellow Disney lovers!
After countless Disney trips myself, and as Southern Californian so so blessed to live close enough to Disneyland, I’ve put together a list that (hopefully!) is helpful for you on your next trip to Disney!
Whether you’re headed to Disneyland, Disney World, or Disney park abroad, this packing list has you covered!
From absolute must-haves to a few magical extras, here is everything you’ll need to make your Disney adventure comfortable, organized, and extra fun!
“All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.”

1. Park Essentials
- Tickets and Reservations – Make sure you’ve got those park tickets, hotel confirmations, and dining reservations handy. I like to keep digital copies on my phone and bring a printout just in case!
- Park Map or App – The Disney park app is a lifesaver for maps, wait times, and even mobile ordering. Plus, Wi-Fi is free in most parks!
- Portable Charger – You’ll be taking tons of photos and using the app a lot, so a portable charger is essential. Trust me, you don’t want to be scrambling for an outlet!

2. Clothing & Accessories
- Comfortable Shoes – Disney days = lots of walking! Make sure your shoes are broken in, and I usually bring a backup pair for added comfort.
- Weather-Ready Gear – The weather can change quickly, so pack accordingly:
- Warm Weather: Think lightweight clothes, hats, sunglasses, and lots of sunscreen.
- Cool Weather: Layered clothing, a jacket, and a cozy beanie if needed.
- Rain Gear: Ponchos or a small umbrella, especially during rainy seasons. I love disposable ponchos because they’re compact and easy to pack away.

3. Park-Day Bag Essentials
- Backpack or Crossbody Bag – A lightweight bag is key! It keeps your hands free and all your essentials within reach.
- Water Bottle – Staying hydrated is super important. I like to bring a refillable bottle since most parks have water stations.
- Snacks – Disney snacks are amazing, but bringing your own can save time and money.
- Hand Sanitizer and Wipes – For keeping germs at bay, especially with all the rides and handrails.
- Autograph Book and Pen – Perfect if you’re planning any character meet-and-greets—so fun for kids and adults alike!

4. Sun Protection
- Sunscreen – Go for a long-lasting, sweat-resistant kind, and reapply as needed. Trust me, the sun is strong!
- Sunglasses – Polarized sunglasses can make a big difference on sunny days.
- Hat or Visor – A cute and functional way to keep the sun off your face.

5. Health & Safety Items
- First Aid Kit – I always bring a small kit with band-aids, blister pads, and any medications I might need.
- Pain Relief and Allergy Meds – Just in case. These are good to have on hand for headaches, allergies, and more.
- Cooling Towels – Especially in the summer, cooling towels are a game-changer!
“Adventure is out there!” – Up-

6. Magic Touches
- Disney Gear – Show your Disney spirit with Mickey ears, themed t-shirts, or a fun lanyard!
- Portable Fan or Misting Fan – For hot days, these little fans make such a difference.
- Glow Sticks – Perfect for nighttime parades, shows, or fireworks. I love bringing my own as a fun little extra!

7. Kids’ Essentials (if you’re bringing little ones)
- Stroller – Bring a collapsible stroller if needed, especially if you’re staying for a full day.
- Change of Clothes – Kids and Disney go hand-in-hand with spills, so a backup outfit is a lifesaver.
- Entertainment – Small toys, coloring books, or a tablet with headphones can help during long waits.

8. Photography Gear (for capturing the magic!)
- Camera and Extra Batteries – While phone cameras are great, a camera gives your photos an extra level of magic.
- Memory Card – Make sure you’ve got enough storage for all the photos!
- Selfie Stick or Tripod – Just check park policies; some parks restrict selfie sticks, so a handheld tripod might be better.

9. Extra Tips
- Reusable Shopping Bag – Great for souvenirs or extra items.
- Plastic Bags or Ziplock Bags – For keeping wet clothes or snacks.
- Sharpie Marker – Handy for labeling items or adding personal notes.
And they all lived happily ever after…
There you have it! With these essentials, you’re all set for a magical and stress-free Disney experience. Pack smart, stay comfy, and get ready to soak up every magical moment.
Let the memories begin! ✨
